A fantastic piece of this sought after abstract design, one of the best i've ever seen. Ginger jars are rare so to get one in a design such as this is a bonus! This is an early example of the pattern judging by the Fantasque mark and the fact that it is painted very loosely and thickly. The base shows a full and repeating version of the pattern and it has it's correct original lid with the correct banding for this pattern. Condition - A hairline has been invisibly restored to the lid otherwise is in excellent condition. Height 9" and carries Fantasque marks to the base.
