A superb and extremely rare Ginger jar decorated in Umbrellas and Rain. This is a really bold example with a very strong repeating image around the body. The base has had a small chip restored to the rim. The lid is a modern replacement that has been banded exactly to suit the base. To the eye you would never know it wasn't the original lid. It measures 8.5" in height and is fully signed to the base. I have priced it accordingly and would be double in price at least if the lid was original.
