This is the only example of this colourway of chintz to ever turn up, Blue, Orange or Green are the standard colourways and then once there was a purple colourway strangely enough on a single arab candleholder. This pair are a completely different colourway and so are unique to date and on a shape that has never turned up more than maybe 10 times! . Superbly decorated and measuring 5.8" in overall height they are covered in bold pattern but do have some proffesional restoration to necks, one foot and one basket, this is not visible and does not detract from what a truly rare examples. Printed marks to each base. They are available as a pair at £1400 or £750 each singly.
