Every once in a while something turns up that you have never seen before, this is one of those times! An unrecorded as far as i am aware pattern shown on an isis jug that will date to 1929. A fascinating design that has elements of Melon, Blue eyed Marigold as well as others so is clearly from that same early 1929 period when they moved on from the standard original bizarre ware and started experimenting with new designs. One at one point i thought i was looking at the sea with small islands and abstract palm trees... until the drugs wore off! A fantastic rare vase that i can GUARANTEE to be free from damage or restoration. It is fully signed to the base and the first time this piece has ever been on the market. I bought it privately in London where it had been with the same ownership since the year dot. Measures 25cm or 10" in height. The lucky buyer has a pattern to name too!
