An amazing Cubist sculpture of 2 polar bears supporting a ball. This is not something i have ever seen before and is a fantastic piece of Art Deco. It is marked to the side RJ or RT 1934 and is something i cannot find trace of anywhere. Somebody told me there was one in a museum in newcastle and made by a local artist i assume called from memory john adams although until i find it again i cannot guarantee that. It measures 12" square at the base and is just under 15" tall. It weighs a ton and is not practical to attempt to ship so i'm afraid its a meet and collect item unless you want to pay a professional to pack and ship but would be very expensive i'm sure. A stunning piece of cubist sculpture though and a fabulous thing to own.
I constantly need new stock and I usually pay far more than you would achieve at auction for top end pieces as I have an extensive client list to sell to.
