George Woolliscroft Rhead for Doulton Lambeth, a faience painted charger, 1879, decorated with an allegorical scene of putto with helmet, possibly David with the helmet of Goliath, within a border of alternating fishscale and foliate scroll panels, impressed Pinder Bourne marks. GUARANTEED to be free from damage or restoration, it carries a painted monogram and is 44.5cm in diameter.
