Hancock and sons LARGE MORRISWARE VASE BY GEORGE CARTLIDGE C.1912

Hancock and sons LARGE MORRISWARE VASE BY GEORGE CARTLIDGE C.1912

A superb and impressive vase designed by George Cartlidge for Hancock and sons. Model C28-27 decorated with Bell flowers on a very unusual mottled blue ground, a colourway i have not had before and certainly a rare example. This impressive vase measures 14.5" in height and it's only blemish is a small slither chip to the base rim. This does not detract from what is a rare vase. Fully signed to base and dates to around 1912.
