harlequin conical cup & saucer

Image Zoom (4)

A very rare cup and saucer in a harlequin design, this piece would date to 1930 and is one of the few you will ever see with patterned saucers. A stunning duo that is a rare addition to any collection. The saucer has had one tiny 3mm nick touched in on the back which did not encroach the top so does not detract from what is a rare example, other than this there is no other damage or repairs, printed marks to the bases. Saucer measures 5.5" and the cup is 2.5" high - standard tea for two size.
