An exceptional copper Arts and Crafts Mantle clock designed by Anne Grisdale Stubbs for Jesson Birkett co of Birmingham dating to around 1904. This was quite likely a special order piece as the quality is of the highest calibre and i can find no record of another nor have ever seen one. Great shape and design and decorated with Ruskin pottery cabochons. This impressive timepiece measures an impressive 42cm by 35cm by 23cm deep. It is in original condition and the copper has not been polished. Serviced and working.
