A superbly decorated 9.75" tall ewer showing a couple of almost grotesque birds amongst other flying birds and flora. Very cleanly fired and good colour. CONDITION - The vase has has a firing line restored to the inside of the top rim, was about 1.5cm, it is now not visible and does not detract. it is fully signed to the base and dated may 1894.
