A rare Maw & Co ruby lustre charger depicting two basilisk type creatures with a central grotesque head. This was made at the Jackfield pottery in Shropshire. CONDITION - there has been a hairline crack invisibly restored to the naked eye, it measures 45.5cm in diameter and is fully marked and impressed to the reverse.
