It is very rare to find melon on a stamford shape but much rarer to find a complete early morning set. This is the first complete stamford tea for two in this pattern i have seen or owned in 23 years, it is an early example that features the early form of milk jug. A fantastic and rare set that is decorated beautifully, one cup had a tiny touch in on the top rim which cannot be seen otherwise is in perfect condition without any blemishes. height of teapot is 4.5", all pieces carry a 'fantasque' script mark to the base dating the set to 1930..
