A rare red autumn lotus jug, it is only the 3rd one i know of and the only twin handled example. A huge flowing and bold double image fill the vase with pattern, colours are bright and strong. The vase has no damage and no restoration bar a couple of small painflakes on the black which have been touched in, the red band at the bottom also has a streak that appears to be a colour run in manufacture, however it is a great piece and peiced accordingly. Fully signed, is an early piece which will date to late 1930/early 1931 and mesaures 30cm in overall height.
