This really is a rarity, one of about 15 original grotesque masks known wolrdwide, of the geometric ones that have turned up this one is possibly the best one, fantastic colours and boldness really work on this incredible piece. Designed by ron birks for clarice cliff these are now very sought after and very rarely turn up and as 8 of the masks are in one collection the chances of buying one these days is very remote. The mask is the only one ever seen in this colourway and measures 11" by 8.5", it is fully marked with factory stamp to reverse and also has a small impressed RB ( ron birks ) in the right side of its cheek on the orange section. Please note this mask has restoration to the top section, it has been done to a fantastic ( the very best ) standard and i can GUARANTEE it not being visible to the eye, this does not in anyway detract from what is an important piece of clarice.
