A boldly decorated Bowness shape jardiniere decorated in the Tahiti Papaver pattern. It is very clean and shows a full version of the pattern, GUARANTEED to be free from damage or restoration. It measures 8" in height, is 10" wide and is fully signed to the base and signed to the side of the body 'L Allen'. These patterns were designed by John Butler and the L Allen handwriting interestingly appears to be in the same hand as John Butler used to sign his Clarice Cliff applique pieces.
