A superbly decorated ruby lustre tile showing 2 beasts and dating to 1880. The colours and firing are crisp and even. Condition - A chip has been invisibly restored to the bottom right hand corner, there are a couple of nibbles to the back and a couple of very light surface scratches to the front. ?It measures 6" square and has a merton abbey mark to the reverse.
