Probably the most perfectly fired piece of De Morgan i have seen. Perfection! A beautiful Sunset and moonlit suite wall plaque showing a bird of prey and nest with her chicks. The colouring and firing truly are exceptional and the plaque shows no blemishes, no burnt spots and no runs. There is no restoration and the only tiny fault is a small flake inside one of the hanging holes on the reverse, see images. Dates to around 1907, carries marks for Charles Passenger and measures 10" (25cm) in diameter. PRICE ON APPLICATION.
