A very rare variant and colourway of Claremont that will date to around 1905. Ochre colours on a dark blue almost black ground that will date to around 1905. Unusually it carries an incised signature to the base which i have not seen on a Claremont vase before. GUARANTEED to be free from damage or restoration the vase measures 9.25" in height and is 6" wide across the handles. Please note there is a firing split in the base which is visible in the images, this is just shrinkage that occurred in firing and not later damage.
