A rare and superbly decorated Early Poppy vase. This design was registered in 1898 and is one of those very early patterns where the work and detail are incredible. Masses of intricate pattern all over the body and rim in perfect colours and fired perfectly. It must have been such a time consuming vase to make. GUARANTEED to be free from any form of damage or restoration the vase measures an impressive 12" in height and is 6.5" across the top. It is fully signed to the base.
