Early pomegranate jardinere

Early pomegranate jardinere

The rarest colourway of pomegranate, pink fruit on a celadon ground beautifully displayed on this vase/jardinere. Measures 7.5" in height and is 5.5" across the top and so is a substantial piece. Colours are wonderful and subtle with most of the body showing decoration. It has had one hairline to the rim totally invisibly restored, it does not detract from what is a rare example. Fully signed to the base and dates to around 1913.
