R. W Martin brothers DOUBLE FACE JUG C.1903

 

A Martin Brothers stoneware face jug by Robert Wallace Martin, dated 1903, modelled to one side with a smiling face, the reverse and more smug grin, glazed brown with white and black highlights, incised 1-1903 R W Martin & Bros, London & Southall, paper label numbered 78, 7" tall by 6.5" wide. GUARANTEED to be free from damage or restoration.
