A Martin Brothers stoneware face jug by Robert Wallace Martin, modelled to one side with a smiling face, the other a pouting face, glazed in dark bronze/black over olive green, highlighted in white incised R W Martin & Bros London & Southall, 5.5" or 14cm in height. GUARANTEED to be free from restoration but does have a small flat chip or glaze pop from firing under the footrim.
