William Moorcroft EARLY POPPY POMPEIIAN VASE C.1902

William Moorcroft EARLY POPPY POMPEIIAN VASE C.1902

£550.00

A rare and very nicely decorated Pompeiian shape vase or Jardinere in a version of Early Poppy on a celadon ground. This will date to around 1902 and is a nicely decorated example. CONDITION - there is a faint hairline from the rim to the body about 3" in length but is still a really nice example of a rare shape and pattern. It measures 7" in height and is 10" wide including the handles, it is also 20" around it's fattest part so is a large impressive piece. It is fully signed to the base and has printed factory marks.
