William Moorcroft FLAMBE WARATAH VASE C.1932

Image Zoom (8)

A rare and beautiful flambe Waratah vase that dates to 1932. Probably the most sought after of all designs and this example is one of the best i have seen. The drawing and colours are absolutely perfect and is fired to perfection. The flowerheads are superb in colour and detail and the images are a true refection of the vase, the red flambe is even and fiery. GUARANTEED to be free from damage or restoration the vase measures 8.2" in height and is fully signed to the base. It carries an early Richard Dennis exhibition label and also a Sothebys label from the famous Albert Wade collection sale, the provenance of this vase is superb.
